We are looking for a web developer to join our team to help support and maintain an existing suite of web applications in a LAMP environment. There will also be opportunities to work on new projects as time permits. Duties would include:
Setting up new customers as they are acquired / making changes to configurations
Fixing bugs / testing / deployment
Adding new features as required
Writing additional documentation for support staff and customers
Answering customer questions that lower levels of support are not equipped to handle
Helping other technical staff complete programming projects
Requirements:
Required:
Has developed / tested web applications in a Linux Environment
Can write both good, clean code and process documentation
Has excellent attention to detail
Familiar with OOP / Design patters and how to use these effectively
Good foundation of secure coding practices (e.g. OWASP Top 10)
Works well with non-technical staff and customers
Helpful, but not required:
Git
ExtJS (now Sencha)
Laravel Framework
AngularJS
Bootstrap
Familiar with Atlassian workflow using Jira, Stash, Bamboo and Confluence
Testing / Build tools like xUnit, Grunt, Protractor, Jasmine
Perl
C / C++
Education -
Bachelors in Computer Science, MIS or an equivalent combination of experience and education

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
