Develops the content that is positioned in proposals, presentations, capabilities documents and Request For Proposal/Requests for Information.
Responsibilities:
Works with business development project managers to coordinate development of content and messaging for each opportunity.
Supports the generation of new revenue requiring frequent interaction with top management in sales and client relations across the country.
Writes, designs, proofreads, and edits promotional materials and departmental documents.
Creates and designs the visual template for sales collateral materials.
Organizes and leads new business opportunity project team and directs the activities of others involved in production and delivering the final output to prospects, co-workers, or other recipients.
Gathers and organizes information and staff resources necessary to formulate winning communications output.
Coordinates with and assists business development project managers as needed and reports results as requested to manager.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: College Degree required, preferably in journalism, communications, or marketing.
Knowledge/Skills:
Three to five years related industry experience.
Advanced business writing ability with outstanding grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills.
Advanced skill in editing the work of diverse subject matter experts to develop cohesive final outputs.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks.
Intermediate knowledge of insurance and employee benefits.
Basic level mathematical skill needed to interpret and communicate demographic analysis.
Self-motivated with the initiative to make constant improvement.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Shows a willingness and ability to engage in creative problem-solving.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of internal staff and management, as well as vendors, clients, and prospects.
Is flexible and can adapt to changing project needs, respond to a diverse range of customers, and thrive in a fast-paced marketing environment.
Strong computer skills and the ability to navigate through multiple systems without assistance.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
