The Account Representative is responsible for bringing value to the organization with the ability to expand the product base with newly acquired and existing accounts as well as increasing the per transaction sales with the highest level of profit margin.
The position provides consistent support and account management to Store Owners, Managers, Distributors and Customers.
The focus is on building and maintaining a positive profitable relationship with your store owners, managers, distributors and customers while resolving conflicts/issues with speed and accuracy, using the Core Values to guide your behavior.
Position offers hourly base pay plus uncapped monthly performance bonus starting at 30% of base.
This is a hybrid position.
Training is completed on-site and two days per week on-site are required thereafter.
Job Components:
Customer Account Management (50%):
Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers by continually providing excellent service, pricing, and product support Demonstrate integrity with each customized sales strategy presented to a customer.
Serve each Store Owner, Manager, Distributor and Customer by applying an individualized strategy business model for each, always utilizing ethical sales methods Meet and exceed personal and team goals with regard to per transaction sales, product expansion sales and new buyer relationships within the same client base Emphasize a team approach in regard to expanding product line and same store sales with your fellow Business Development Representative and Customer Service Representative within your region Coordinate efforts with Customer Service Representative to create auto-ship and regular refill orders Verification and processing of sales orders to ensure proper delivery and high customer satisfaction rating Provide excellence in researching and resolving back orders Establish goals with management which reinforce the goals and objectives of the Interstate Playbook and report those KPI's back to management Work productively every day to meet daily sales goals and other expectations which will allow you to maximize your compensation plan and solidify your position within the organization Provide product support Prepare and present customized strategies to each buyer's business model, always utilizing key strategies and ethical sales methods Continuous education with new product development and technology training Teamwork and Self Management Component (20%) Responsible for continual training, developing relevant skills and product knowledge Monitor market conditions and report competitor activities to the team Utilize customer contact tools and systems, keeping systems updated with relevant information Promote a team environment to achieve sales goals Speak positively about the system, customers, company and staff at all times while promoting goodwill Accept constructive criticism appropriately and use to maximize sales goals Participate in daily and weekly meetings with an eagerness to learn and grow Reporting (20%):
Produce and analyze reports on various metrics within the sales and customer service organization Implement and monitor strategies developed to meet the objectives of the Interstate Battery Playbook and report the KPI results to key stakeholders Other (10%):

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1 year of telesales experience highly desired.
People skills-ability to communicate, work and deal with all personalities.
Sales skills or ability to develop sales skills.
Computer and typing experience very helpful.
Common sense.
Positive attitude.
Prior computer knowledge (typing skills).
Dependable.
Ability to articulate clearly.
Able to successfully complete battery training provided by Interstate.
Able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment criminal background check is required.
