This position is responsible for providing leadership and direction to our end user support team members and guiding all aspects related to our end user's technical experience.
This position will manage and support the various end user service offerings at Quality Manufacturing while working closely with other IT team members for implementation and maintenance of the end user environment.
Responsibilities include:
Manage and direct the daily activities of the End User support team by assigning daily tasks and monitoring our ticket system to ensure tickets are handled promptly and effectively.
Manage desktop infrastructure projects supporting current and future QMC initiatives.
Manage and administer corporate SharePoint and OneDrive environment.
Provide escalated support for team members.
Possess knowledge of advanced troubleshooting concepts and techniques.
Must be able to efficiently multitask while meeting self-imposed and external deadlines.
Must be able and willing to quickly adapt to changing environments and demands.
Strong communication and documentation skills required, as the role requires the ability to mentor and guide other desktop technicians.
Must be capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and capable of installing equipment under desks and similar situations.
Must be capable of driving to off-site locations.
We have multiple facilities, and travel to them (within the metro area) is sometimes required.
Qualifications include:
3-5 years of experience in the information technology field specializing in the enterprise end user/desktop computing environment.
Strong understanding of Microsoft's System Center Configuration Manager and Windows Update Services.
Strong understanding of Microsoft's SharePoint and OneDrive environment.
Strong understanding of Microsoft's current operating systems, operating system features and productivity suite of tools.
Leadership experience desired.
Understanding of network services related to desktops, such as DHCP, DNS, TCPIP.
Understanding of Windows imaging and desktop deployment processes.
Familiarity with virtual environments, specifically VMWare Horizon.
Familiarity with mobile device options and operating systems.
