Job Description:
You Are:
As a General Manager, you are a performance driven individual who is committed to provide innovative service to our clients.
You are approachable and relationship oriented as you contribute to Pitney Bowes success.
As part of our commitment to a flexible work schedule, this role does not have a set amount of vacation per year.
Salary range:
$115000 - $135000 / year.
This position is eligible to earn an annual incentive bonus.
You Will:
Develop and maintain strong working relationship with top customers and USPS Schedule and conducts quarterly customer meetings with top clients Oversee Operation Manager's organization and scheduling of production operations to assure quality of service and customer satisfaction of all mail processing services, as well as postal regulation compliance in all processes Prepare budget information by analyzing expenses, new business, lost business, equipment needs, personnel changes, etc.
Arrive at budget meetings fully prepared with documentation, spreadsheets and validation of assumptions used Assure quality and customer satisfaction emphasized in all processes and services provided Hold ultimate responsibility for correctness and integrity of all USPS paperwork and for attaining and maintaining Mail Certification's Assist Sales Executive in sales calls and quarterly reviews Actively supports all safety initiatives.
Reviews Workers Comp reports to determine operating center challenges and opportunities in WC loss control effort Perform all other duties as assigned Your Background:
As a General Manager, you have:
5 years or more of successful managerial level experience in mailing or related industry with full P&L responsibility Significant customer relationship and management, and business development experience Read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals and USPS postal regulations Prepare financial reports and effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and employees Calculate and prepare various reports regarding volumes, rejects and other pertinent data Proficiency in spreadsheet and database applications in Microsoft Office environment.
Knowledgeable of PC applications and statistical reporting The ability to travel to various cities for industry forums, corporate meetings and training, approximately 10-15% of the time Our Team:
Pitney Bowes Presort Services performs mail sorting; performing some of the work that would typically be performed by the USPS .
For completing this work, Presort Services receives discounted postage rates.
By performing this sorting work on behalf of our clients, we are able to share a portion of that discount with them.
Our national network of operating centers processes over 17 billion pieces of mail annually.
We provide mailers with end-to-end solutions from pick-up at their location into delivery into the postal system network, providing optimal postage savings.
