Responsibilities:
As a Claims Service Representative, you'll develops skill and acquire knowledge to assist the Claims Department in the day-to-day departmental operations.
You'll provides administrative support to provide claims intake and set up of new losses and handle mail.
You'll answers telephones and triage calls to help customers, both internal and external as necessary.
We'll count on you to:
Review new losses received by Claims Department to determine type and level of loss.
Retrieves Coverage and enters contact and other pertinent information into Claims Center to enable Claims Representatives to establish reserves.
Manage the mail and faxes for the department.
Makes appropriate calls and works with the file handlers to identify where the mail should be directed.
Answer calls received through the Claims message center.
Assists caller or directs call to appropriate claims staff.
Assist with projects including the development and tracking of data, deductibles, compliance and record keeping within the claims system.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
What you need to have:
Associate's degree; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Effective listening, verbal and written communications skills necessary to interact effectively with internal and external customers Proven customer service experience with strong customer orientation Ability to interpret information, evaluate, research and take steps to resolve problems Demonstrates a willingness to embrace new systems, processes, technology and ideas Acts with a sense of urgency and possess efficient planning, time management and organizational skills Regularly and consistently demonstrates commitment to company values and guiding principles Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Additional Company Details:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
