Summary:
This position will be responsible for SKU creation, content marketing, and performance of our products across several E-Commerce platforms.
This candidate should possess excellent writing abilities, graphic design skills, data analysis capabilities, plus be detail-oriented and very organized.
This position requires a pro-active candidate and someone who understands the importance of deadlines and accuracy.
Essential Position Accountabilities:
Creates detailed product descriptions for items on the website.
Proofreads all descriptions to ensure accuracy prior to being published.
Assists in editing, organizing, and categorizing product images.
Ability to assist in the Photo Studio when needed.
Manages go live dates and the post listing merchandising process.
Aligns product go live dates with promotional calendars.
Collaborates with Graphic Designers and Buying Team to develop timelines and requirements for product marketing assets.
Optimizes product pages with content, photos, and attributes.
Consistently reviews product content and data to verify accuracy.
Helps monitor and resolve product feed issues on our website and Ecommerce platforms.
Writes content for the website using best practices for SEO.
Provides input on our product content standards and style guidelines.
Ensures Marketing Team is kept up to speed on new products.
Provides curated SKU lists for social, email and web campaigns.
Recommends product positioning on the website.
Supports cross-sell, up-sell, and promotional merchandising needs in collaboration with Buyers.
Constantly be on the lookout for ways to innovate and improve our product pages and operations based on analysis, A/B testing, and the competitive landscape.
Analyzes customer feedback, product analysis, and performance benchmarks to identify opportunities for improvement.
Works with the Ecommerce development teams to enhance product content management tools and customer interface.
Assists with other team duties and initiatives when needed Participates in special events conducted by the department The above responsibilities and additional duties may vary as assigned.
Education/Work Experience Required:
Bachelors Degree Experience in Marketing &/or Advertising Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Creative writing skills a must Ability to create copy for various platforms Strong proofreading, grammar, and copywriting skills Attention to detail and accuracy Understands the importance of deadlines Highly organized Experience in photography and image editing Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design Working knowledge of Word and Excel Ability to break down complex problems, conduct analysis, and translate into an action plan Able collaborator with leadership, business users, and technical personnel Physical Expectations:
Sitting or standing for long periods of time.
Light lifting for set-up for Homemakers Special Events Environmental Conditions:
Will work indoors, but will also work outdoors for occasional Homemakers Special Events Conditions may include hot/cold temperatures, dusty surroundings, and noisy work environment.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
